'Tis the Queen on her throne. Actually, my husband put her up there to try to calm her down. She's cute in this pic, but I have to admit the look on my dear hubby's face is priceless. She's just this teeny-tiny bundled of astronomical energy. She's been in our home since Good Friday before Easter. She makes the Energizer Bunny look lazy!
This is Brandy
Emily
and DizzyThe "Three Elders" have accepted her into the pack. They had no choice! Smidgen is the smallest of all the dogs we have, yet she is not intimidated, oh no... quite the contrary. She's very aggressive. More chew toys... and these one's chew back! She couldn't be happier. I liken this scenario to bringing a "terrible two's" child into a nursing home and just letting him run wild. Yipes! What was I thinking!
In Smidgen's defense, she can also entertain herself very well. It's so funny to watch her play with her chew toys and grunt and growl and shake them about. By the way, some of her chew toys are my flip-flops (which are now useless), the hubs slippers (which now have no lining inside, and quite personally, I don't know how Smidgen can stand the smell of his slippers), an empty italian ice plastic cup, which is unrecognizable. Let's not forget to mention her real chew toys... a nylabone, and a braided rope and several fuzzy balls (which have hardly any fuzz left). OK, so you're getting the picture, I'm sure.
Aunt Mary's here, Aunt Mary's here! My best friend Mary and I are so much alike, it's scary! I had bought this bubble maker and she found it and had so much fun. I truly believe there is nothing that will make you feel like a little girl again more than BUBBLES and SIDEWALK CHALK, both of which I still use! Anyhow... while Mary was doing her bubble thing, Smidgen decided it would be great fun to catch them. It was a breezy day... and she just romped and rolled and jumped and snatched at those beautiful bubbles. You can faintly see them in the pics. It was good exercise for Smidgen too... trying to wear her down a little bit (yeah, right!).
Come on Aunt Mary.... keep 'em comin'!!!
Way to go Aunt Mary! Nice and low to the ground, gotta good chance at a couple of these babies.
Time for a break in the shade of the lilac bush. All done for now.
This next 4-pic series speaks for itself!
Who do you think is winning? LOL!!!!
Hugs all around,
Penny Suzie

I am getting a kick out of seeing the pictures. The last one is priceless.
I would never be able to keep up with a puppy with so much energy. but she sure is cute.
What cute pics...I am not sure I could do the puppy stage over again. I certainly admire your energy to keep up the energized bunny pup:-)

Hi Penny:
Just stopping by to say hi, hope you are doing okay.
Happy 4th of July.
What a funny post. I love your description of your puppy and the energy...and about your other dogs who are more elderly.
Oh my....it sounds like things are really hopping around your place.
I giggled when I saw the book too...oh dear.
I've enjoyed your site and I will be back...come by and visit when you have some time.
Happy 4th of July
Judi
Hey Girl!
Thinking of you and hope you are ok
Hugs, on top of hugs!!!
Sandy
I just read your comment you left! I hope your thumb is okay! That sounds like something that would happen to me! I'm in pain now too. My muscles in my back are so sore, I guess from all the walking I've been doing. Funny...I would think my legs would get sore, not my back muscles!
