I don't know how many of you follow the Shabby Chic blog by Rachel Ashwell... but her company is filing Chapter 11. They are closing their Connecticut and Long Island stores. If an icon like Rachel can suffer so from our economy, how are the rest of us supposed to press on and succeed? I'm saddened!!!!!
After that wonderful news, I hope that this post finds everyone healthy and happy. After all... without that, what does the rest mean anyhow.

That is pretty sad that Rachel Ashwell is closing up. So many companies are really hurting right now. I'm glad my hubby retired from the car business, because it sure isn't doing good either. As long as Social Security doesn't go broke, we will be okay.
You commented on my blog I wasn't blogging regularly...I know, I get blogger's block and can't think of anything interesting to write about. Me, who never shuts up. lol.

I already got my income tax refund back, it is really quick when you e-file! (therefore able to shop a little.)
Your material was a real bargain! Can't wait to see it! I'm cutting down the king size duvet cover that I made several years ago. I now have a queen size bed. I ripped all the cording off the edge with seam ripper and just about killed my hand. I already have some mild carpel tunnel from doing blood pressures for so many years. It's recovering but I won't stop doing the things I love.
Have you made any progress on your cute craft room??
