I'm sick...

I'm not feeling good at all today. Some intestinal bug or something. I've spent almost the entire day in bed, getting up every 2 to 3 hours to put more wood on the wood boiler. At almost 7 pm, I'm hoping I'm looking at the time where I should start to be feeling better. Which, I do, a very little. But my tummy is still not in agreement. I finally managed to drag my sorry self to the couch.

The hubs took this picture last night after we got done with our snow removal and brining in firewood. It's one of our many apple trees with frozen snow-covered apples still on it. It's supposed to be bitter cold this week here, moreso overnights. Anyhow, I'm trying to keep up with the fire.

I hope others are happy and healthy... I'm getting there, I think.

Hugs,
Penny Suzie

LOL! I can't believe the word I have been given for word verification to comment. It is sucka. Can you believe it? Thanks for the unintended laugh.

Anyway....

Get well soon. Get some warm chicken soup. It truly works. :-)

I hope you feel better by tomorrow. It is only supposed to be a high of -1 here tomorrow, so I am staying in.....I agree with Lucy from English Cottage, chicken noodle soup when your tummy can handle it.

LeAnn:)

Hey Girl!
Get better soon! We need you up and running around! Go slowly on adding back solids. Start with BRAT diet. Bananas, rice applesauce and toast. Then progress upward. Delay milk and fried foods til you are well.
Words of wisdom from a nurse.
Get better soooooooooon!

Hi Penny, I hope you are feeling better today. I hate being sick, especially the stomach. Stay warm.

Hi Penny...

Yeah, my mom is fine, I think she just decided to delete her blog for some personal reasons. Nothing major, she just wants focus on other things. She & I discussed how blogging can bet so addicting! So she decided it was time to move on to other things. You can always keep in touch with her via email, and who knows, maybe one day she'll rejoin the blog community :)
